Our members love this very special meeting held at the home of some lovely people who have been members of the Society for many years. If you love gardens just come for their wonderful displays!

Members start arriving from 9.30am onward and set out their stalls full of Hornsea Pottery. Some pieces never get as far as the table as eager hands reach for them to add to growing collections.

At noon the official part of the meeting opens when our Chairman welcomes everyone and thanks the people who have worked to make the day possible. He then invites us to enjoy the wonderful buffet, only £4 for all you can eat plus drinks from the moment you arrive. You can then view the upcoming auction and decide which items you will bid on. There are always rare and scarce pieces to buy.

When the auction is over the raffle is drawn while the paperwork is balanced and we usually have someone who will give an informative talk about our favourite pottery.

There is plenty of time through the day to talk to members who have more experience of the pottery and if you bring something that you are not sure about there will be someone to ask.
